building type+location: warehouse refurbishment and extension to accommodate 18 maisonettes and apartments offered as holiday lets.
invisible elements: the view of the thames is prime real estate, yet due to the perpendicular configuration of the warehouse, only minimal viewing opportunities existed, at one end of the building. a layout was devised to provide rooftop visibility from a series of elevated tiny rooms, each with its own view of the thames.
